1Agreeing to these terms
By signing in to DuckInJob you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. You can stop at any time by deleting your account.
2What DuckInJob is
DuckInJob is a free tool that reads the emails job sites and employers send you and keeps a timeline of your job applications. It is a personal project, offered as it is, while it's still being built.
It only helps you keep track. It doesn't apply for jobs, contact employers or send email for you, and it isn't a recruiter or a job board.
3Your account
- You sign in with your own Google account and connect only a Gmail inbox that is yours.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account; sign out on shared devices.
- You must be old enough to use Google services in your country.
4Using it fairly
Please don't:
- try to reach other people's data, or get around sign-in, limits or security;
- overload the app (for example with automated requests or by sending yourself mail to flood the AI);
- use it for anything unlawful, or to store content that isn't yours to process.
Accounts that do may be suspended or removed.
5Accuracy and the AI assist
Stages, companies and dates come from reading emails automatically, and the AI assist (beta) and chat can be wrong. Always check the original email in Gmail before you rely on it, for example before missing a deadline or declining an offer.
The AI features have daily limits and may be turned off or unavailable. Don't put sensitive personal data into the chat that you wouldn't want an AI provider to process (see the privacy policy).
6Your data
Your applications, notes and kept emails stay yours. DuckInJob only uses them to run the app for you, as the privacy policy explains. You can export everything or delete your account from the Account page at any time.
Feedback you send may be used to fix and improve DuckInJob.
7Availability and changes
DuckInJob is free and may change, pause or stop at any time, including features, limits and these terms. When the terms change, the date above changes. Using the app after that means you accept the new terms.
8No warranty, limited liability
DuckInJob is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, the developer isn't liable for missed opportunities, decisions made from what the app showed, lost data, or other indirect damage from using or not being able to use it.
Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you.
